At her late residence, on Sunday, May 23, 2004, of Ida Belle Gillis, of 176 Cedar Street, Summerside and formerly of Thistle and Shamrock, aged 93 years. In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. After a wonderful life with many blessings, with a heavy heart the family of Herman MacLeod announces his passing on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Wedgewood Manor, aged 93 years. Herman was born in Birch Hill, P.E.I. in the family home to the late Robert Wallace and Debora MacLeod. A beloved father to Gloria Peters and Stacey Peters , a devoted stepfather to Henry Myers (Jo-Anne), Diane Chambilomatis , Nicole Chambilomatis and Vanessa Chambilomatis .

Survived by his brother-in-law John MacDougall and sister-in-law Fran Doyle. Besides his parents Clarence was predeceased by his siblings, Mike , Maurice , Basil, Brian, and Mary Lee. Interment to take place in the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Cape Traverse. Memorial donations in Marion’s memory to the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery Fund or the Parkinson’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
